Project Overview

We collaborated with Chamichi, a leading bubble tea brand in Bangladesh, sought to elevate their visual presence through a series of high-quality, clean, and minimalistic photographs of their diverse range of drinks. Focusing on detailed composition and aesthetic appeal, Chamichi aimed to enhance their marketing materials for use in both online and offline channels.

Challenge

We wanted to establish a consistent visual style that aligns with Chamichi’s brand identity. This would allows us to capture intricate details of the drinks, highlighting ingredients and textures emphasising a clean and minimalistic approach to make the drinks the focal point. The end goal was to provide high-resolution images suitable for various platforms, including social media, print ads, and in-store displays. This presented a few challenges.

Achieving
Perfect Lighting

Capturing the textures and colors of bubble tea without harsh shadows or reflections was challenging due to the transparency and variety of ingredients.

Maintaining
Consistency

With a wide variety of drinks, ensuring a consistent visual style while capturing each drink's unique characteristics was difficult.

Creating a Minimalistic Yet Engaging Visual Style

Balancing simplicity with visual appeal to avoid clutter while making the drinks look enticing was essential. 

Solution

We used a mix of natural and artificial light with diffusers and reflectors to soften the light and highlight details effectively. We developed a standardised setup for lighting, background, and camera settings, and meticulously styled each drink to maintain uniformity. And we combined it all with minimal props and backgrounds, focusing on composition and styling to keep the drinks as the focal point while ensuring they appeared vibrant and attractive.

The Results

The collaboration with Chamichi for the photoshoot successfully achieved the goal of creating clean, minimalistic, and highly detailed images. This project not only enhanced Chamichi's visual marketing materials but also reinforced the brand's commitment to quality and aesthetic appeal.
