Brand Identity

Project Overview

We collaborated with Chacha-Vatija, an up and coming restaurant redefining the food scene in Old Dhaka, to prepare their entire brand guideline and set themselves apart from their competitors. Our goal was to ensure that their brand message reached their audience, creates a sense of curiosity that results in sales as they compete with well established brands in Old Dhaka.

Challenge

Our task was to create an entire brand identity consisting of 360 degree business tools i.e. logo, interior design, packaging, menu, banners, etc. that would allow Chacha Vatija to stand apart from their many well-established, popular competitors. This would require to create a unique brand positioning in their target audience which would directly translate to sales.

Solution

We designed a fun yet orthodox logo with unique color guidelines that catches the attention of the audience. We followed it up with an even funnier design of a mock newspaper as one of their wall posters for interior design. A similar brand message ensued in the design of their menu. At the same time, we tried to create a slick packaging box that shared a similar message.

The Results

After the launch of the Restaurant, Chacha Vatija hosted a record number of visitors in their premises during the first week. They also registered peak interest from onlookers who have stopped being enchanted by the designs.
